Property Description Our fully renovated vintage cottage is located off Front Street down a gravel lane. It offers a comfortable living room and dining area. The full kitchen is well equipped for your convenience. Laundry Room w/ full sized stack-able washer and dryer and ½ bath are located on the first floor.
Older Boat dock on Taylors creek for up to 22 ft may be available at your risk Offers electric and water $20 a day extra fee. .Its also a great place to watch the boats and sunsets.
A queen size bed is located on the second floor w/ full jetted tub bath.
The second floor porch has views from the rocking chairs.. Live oak trees house many birds and envelope the porch to feel like a tree house. A private and peaceful place to read, relax, reflect.
This cottage has been renovated to accommodate two guests but no pets.
It is a quick drive by car or rented bike or leased golf cart [$55 a day] ,, from your house to the Front Street Historic District. Old Beaufort offers a selection of wonderful restaurants & bars, pool hall, museums, waterfront boardwalk with boats anchored from places unknown, coffee shops, wine bar, wonderful relaxed shopping, ferries to take you to the barrier islands and Cape Lookout.
Walking through the shaded streets brings you to the past with beautiful houses, some dating back 250 years or more. Houses owned by ship captains, merchants, fishermen & pirates. And let’s not forget the old Beaufort Burying Ground, one of the oldest cemeteries in North Carolina. It is not surprising that Beaufort, NC - has been voted both the most romantic and the coolest small town in the United States.
